Day Routing
01 Buenos Aires

Arrival at the airport of Buenos Aires and hotel transfer. Guests will join a walking tour through the downtown of this contrasting city. Welcome dinner at a local restaurant in walking distance.

02 Buenos Aires

On a city tour guests explore the Avenida de Mayo with its splenderous architecture of the Belle Epoque that runs into the Plaza De Mayo. It is surrounded by the Casa Rosada (Government House), the Metropolitan Cathedral and the Cabildo (first City Hall). The “Block of Lights” is a single block of houses in the Monserrat neighborhood and remembers to the "illuminated" scholars who once worked within. Lunch break will be at Café Tortoni. In the afternoon visit of the Museum Fernandez Blanco with an extensive collection of Spanish and Latin American art.  In the evening dinner and tango show at El Viejo Almacén.

03 Buenos Aires

Insider Atelier Tour of artists in La Boca and the southern neighbourhoods: after a warm welcome in the houses of professional artists guests will come in touch with the life, works and stories of local artists, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere sharing a cup of coffee or a drink. Visit the Fine Arts Museum Benito Quinquela Martin and the temporary exhibitions in the Foundation Proa in La Boca.  Time for lunch at Proa´s restaurant. In the afternoon  Street Art and Grafitti Tour in the districts of San Telmo and Barracas inclusive visits to local artists.

04 Buenos Aires

Walking tour in Recoleta: architecture and art merge in this “french corner” of the city. Visit to the historical Cemetery of Recoleta, to be one of the most impressive monuments of Argentina and the Museum Evita, which is no better place to explore the mystique, controversy and legend which surrounding her. Lunch break in Palermo. Afterwards visit the Collection of Modern Latinamerican Art at museum MALBA. Dinner will be served at a local restaurant in Puerto Madero.

05 Buenos Aires

Walking tour in the city of San Isidro, a colonial and aristocratic area with heritage buildings. Visit to the colonial house and atelier of one of the most renowned artists of the city. Continue to Tigre, a town in the Buenos Aires province and  visit to the MAT (Art museumTigre) with its collection of argentinian Art from the XIX century to the present. Lunch at a local restaurant. After a navigation on the Rio de la Plata through the Tigre delta getting back to Buenos Aires city by ferry boat (Delta premium).

06 Buenos Aires

In the morning guests visit the Museum of Modern Art. Lunch at a local restaurant in the Las Catalinas district. Continue to visit the Museum Xul Solar with paintings of mystic worlds and alternate universes with angels, snakes and pyramids of the correspondent artist. Night visit to one of the most emblematic buildings of Buenos Aires with its magnific lighttower - the Palacio Barolo.

07 Buenos Aires - Belo Horizonte

Flight to Belo Horizonte and hotel transfer. Panoramic city tour combined with a visit to Insituto Inhotim with a world-class collection of Contemporary Brazilian Art in Brumadinho.

08 Ouro Preto

Transfer to Ouro Preto, famous for its Baroque architecture. Walking tour along the highlights visiting the churches of Our Lady Of The Pillar with carved works painted entirely in gold, and Saint Francis of Assis, designed by Aleijadinho, with soapstone sculptures by the same artist. Proceed to Mariana, walk down its picturesque streets with houses dated from the beginning of the 18th century, with their balconies of wood, iron and even soapstone. Dinner at a local restaurant.

09 Rio de Janeiro

Transfer by bus to Rio de Janeiro, passing by Congonhas, famous for its pilgrimage church Bom Jesus de Matozinhos with works of Aleijadinho. Arrival in the evening at Rio de Janeiro.

10 Corcovado & Samba

City tour including visit to the Corcovado. Time for lunch at Confiteiria Colombo. Continue to visit the museum of Modern Art (MAM) at Parque do Flamengo. Samba & Music at night at Miranda, a new and ritzy live music venue or Centro Cultural Carioca, a restored theater and major contributor to the arts in downtown Rio.

11 Niteroi, Niemeyer´s heritage

Samba dance class in the morning to get to know the first steps of this famous dance. Drive to Niteroi for a visit in the Contemporary Art Museum designed by Oscar Niemeyer. Farewell Dinner at restaurant Aprazivel.

12 Rio de Janeiro

Transfer to the airport and homebound flight.
