Guests will drive up a hillside with the old funiculars for a spectacular view of the bay.

05 Valparaíso

Mealtimes are an important part of family life, “Almuerzo” or lunch is the biggest meal of the day, and two main dishes are often served. The first dish might be a salad with seafood or a soup, the other dish might be “cazuela de ave”, a thick stew of chicken, potatoes, rice, corn and onions. With a cooking class, guests will get the chance to hand pick the ingredients during a tour at the local marketplace in Valparaíso, and use those ingredients to cook some basic, but delicious Chilean dishes. Guests will be picked up at the hotel and go the city center by walking and taking the Funicular (included in the price), where they will have a little city tour and meet the other participants (excursion on SIC).
