Quito - Otavalo Experience the colourful history of colonial Quito during a city tour. Visit to the middle of the world monument, Mitad del Mundo, where the southern and northern hemispheres meet. Continue to Otavalo. Dinner and overnight at a Hacienda. |

Otavalo Visit South America’s largest street market with colourful woven fabrics, hand-carved jewellery and a delicious local cuisine. Continue to visit the small village of Peguche, home to some of the best weavers in Ecuador. Dinner and overnight at the Hacienda. |

Otavalo - Cotopaxi Embark on a fascinating drive on the "Avenue of Volcanoes“. Visit Hacienda La Alegria, a working dairy farm amidst great landscapes. After lunch continue to a beautiful Hacienda for dinner and overnight. |

Provinz Cotopaxi Drive to Cotopaxi National Park. This stunning area is home to the perfectly symmetrical cone of the Cotopaxi volcano. Enjoy a hike to the Limpiopungo Lagoon and fantastic views of the Cotopaxi. Lunch at Hacienda San Agustin de Gallo, which preserves many aspects of its Spanish colonial heritage. Dinner and overnight at the Hacienda. |

Provinz Cotopaxi - Patate Morning visit to another local indigenous handicraft market. Continue to the emerald green crater lagoon of Quilotoa. From the rim of the crater, several snow-capped volcanoes can be seen in the distance, a striking panorama. Drive to Patate for dinner and overnight. |

Patate - Riobamba Transfer to Riobamba, passing by some of the most beautiful landscapes of the country. En route visit Baños, Gate to the Oriente and an idyllic town featuring green mountains, beautiful waterfalls and thermal hot springs. Next stop is the small indigenous village of Salasaca, where the Kichwa community lives. Dinner and overnight at an atmospheric Hosteria. |

Riobamba - Cuenca Train ride to the Devil’s Nose, which offers spectacular Andean scenery along the way. Continue to Cuenca. On the way visit the largest Inca site of Ecuador, the ruins of Ingapirca. Overnight at a hotel. |

Cuenca - Guayaquil Morning city tour. Explore the cobblestone streets, handsome plazas and churches of the city and visit a panama hat factory. Continue to Guayaquil. Overnight at a hotel. |
