Chile, Argentina, Uruguay - Botanical Tour

Arrival at the airport of Santiago de Chile and hotel transfer. Guests will join a walking tour through the downtown of this contrasting city and visit the Santiago Metropolitan Park, an urban park located within the city. Welcome dinner at a local restaurant.

Visit the botanical gardens Mapulemu and Quilapilium together with a chilenean specialist. Lunch will be served at a small restaurant in Ocoa. Transfer to the National Park La Campana, UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Guests can explore a huge forest full of Chilean palm trees (Jubaea chilensis) and central Chiles sclerophyllous vegetation. At last visit the Garden of Universo Arte Cactus. Overnight in Zappalar around 170km north of Santiago.

Today visit a private garden not open to the public but exclusively for our guests. Its an example of a coastal garden in the middle region of Chile directly perched over the Pacific Ocean with native and exotic plants. Our host will be preparing a delicious Lunch enjoying the view. Guided walk of the protected area of Los Molles with native flora, sea birds and sea lions.

This morning guests visit the garden of one of the most creative gardeners and landscapers of Zapallar. After enjoying the walk through this magnific place, our host will be delighting the guests with her home prepared meals using typical fruits and vegetables of the region. Drive to Viña del Mar and visit the Botanical garden. Dinner will be served at a local restaurant. Afterwards guests will leave Viña del Mar in a public bus without guide to Temuco.

Arrival early in the morning in Temuco. Private transfer to the National Park Conguillio inclusive snack on the way to the Park. Trekking through the Araucaria forest with view of the Laima Volcano (4 hours). Private transfer in minibus to the Huilo Huilo Reserve. Check in at Notofaghus hotel or Montaña Mágica Lodge.

Trekking tour in the Natural Park Huilo Huilo: with Salto Leon, Rio Fuy and Rio Truful. Dinner at the hotel.

Relaxing morning in Huilo Huilo. At noon transfer to Puerto Fuy to take the ferry across Lago Pirihueico to the port of Pirihueico. Crossing the Andes to Argentina by the Hua-Hum Passage. Continue through San Martin de los Andes and driving on the mythical Ruta 40 through the Seven Lakes region with its amazing landscapes and Coihues forests. Guests will reach Villa La Angostura in the Province of Neuquén (arrival at around 6 pm).

Today guests visit the unique Arrayán forest of the world. They will take the ferry at the Bay of Quetrihué to reach the National Park Los Arrayanes. Guided walk tour in the forest and trekking back to Villa La Angostura (3 hours). Dinner at Tinto Bistro.

After breakfast guests take the bus to Bariloche (1,5 hours) without guide. Transfer from Bariloche to Llao Llao. Day at free disposal enjoying the spectacular views and activities at Llao Llao hotel and resort.

Flight to Buenos Aires. Transfer to the hotel in San Isidro. In the late afternoon walking tour in San Isidro. Pizza party for dinner at pizzeria Romario in San Isidro.

By train guests reach the Tigre delta to take the ferry and visit part of the Biosphere reserve. Guided walk on the island to encounter the typical vegetation of the Delta. Back to San Isidro guests visit a private garden by a renowned ecologist based on only native vegetation plus workshop on the subject and snack. Dinner at a local barbecue restaurant (walking distance from the hotel).

Transfer by Buquebus ferry to Montevideo in Urugay. Guests enjoy a walking tour of vibrant Montevideo. Time for lunch on their own, for example at the historic Mercado del Puerto. Transfer to Punta del Este to enjoy a private garden tour. Farewell dinner at a local restaurant.

Transfer to the airport and homebound flight.
