Arrival in Bogotá and transfer to the hotel.

Half day city tour incl. visit of the famous Paloquemao market, the Gold Museum, Botero Museum and the statue of Guadalupe. Afternoon at leisure.

Visit of the underground salt cathedral Zipaquirá, the legendary lagoon of Guatavita and the farm of a local family to learn more about their daily live. Lunch included.

Transfer to the airport and flight to Neiva. Transfer to the hotel in Villa Vieja and walk through the village. Visit a local family, a private museum and the Tatacoa Desert.

Transfer to San Agustin and visit the archaeological park, UNESCO World Heritage site.

Visit of a Coffee Farm and the archaeological site Alto de los Idolos, UNESCO World Heritage site.

Transfer to Popayan (ca. 6h) and visit of the sulfurous hot springs of the volcanoe Puracé "Termales Agua Hirviendos".

Visit of a typical market of the Guambiano– and Paeces-Indians in Silvia. In the afternoon return to Popayan.

Transfer to Cali. In the afternoon time to explore Cali, the capital of Salsa and visit of a social dance project for children.

Transfer to the airport and flight to Cartagena. Transfer to the hotel. 

City Tour with photo-stop at San Felipe fortress, city walk in the historical center and visit of the Convent San Pedro Claver.

Day at leisure. Optional: Excursion to Rosario Island El Encanto OR Visit of San Basilio de Palenque OR Drums workshop & mangrooves tour at La Boquilla.

At due time, transfer to the Cartagena airport for your flight back home through Bogotá.
