Excursion to Mariana with its picturesque streets and houses from the early 18th century. Visit to Passagem Gold Mine in railcars that follow the gold veins as far as a crystalline floodlit lake. Lunch is included.

Flight to Salvador da Bahia, one of the oldest cities in the Americas and the black heart of Brazil. Overnight at a hotel in the city centre.

City tour to the historical landmarks of Salvador.

Day at leisure. Optional excursion to the town of Cachoeira, one of the main "candomblé" centres of Bahia, with its fine colonial architecture.

Flight to Recife and transfer to the hotel. Visit the colonial neighbourhood Olinda, a real gem of baroque architecture.

City Tour with Recife´s main sights and a visit to the Ricardo Brennand Institute.

Full day excursion to Porto de Galinhas, one of Brazil´s most beautiful beaches.

Transfer to the airport for homebound flight.
