Romantic Escapes - Peru for Two

Arrival in Lima, welcome surprise at your hotel.

City tour to the modern and colonial parts of Lima with a visit to the San Francisco monastery, its catacombs and the “Park of Love” (Parque del Amor) at the promenade of Miraflores. Dinner at a local restaurant with ocean view.

Flight to Cusco and transfer to the Sacred Valley. Visit the fortress ruins of Sacsayhuaman with a traditional shaman ceremony (“pago a la tierra”). Learn about the famous Andean weavers at the community of Awanacancha. Lunch at Hacienda Sarapampa with owner-guided tour of the property. Dinner at the hotel.

Excursion to the salt pans of Maras and the Inca terraces of Moray. Intimate champagne picnic at Laguna de Piuray. Massage at the hotel spa and sweet surprise in the room.

Transfer by Vistadome train and shuttle bus to Machu Picchu. Guided visit of the world´s most famous Inca ruins followed by lunch at the restaurant next to the archaeological site. Return to the Sacred Valley by Vistadome train and continue by private transfer to Cusco.

Free morning to relax with breakfast in the room. Walking tour in Cusco´s historic center with visit to the Cathedral, the sun temple Qoricancha and the San Blas neighbourhood. Surprise upon return to the hotel.

Flight to Lima and transfer along the coast to Paracas. Visit a local bodega for Pisco tasting. Dinner on the terrace of the hotel room.

Boat excursion to Ballestas Islands (group basis). Sunset in the sand dunes of Ica with wine and snacks.

Flight over the mysterious Nazca Lines followed by the transfer back to Lima. Farewell-dinner with view of the illuminated ruin site of the Huaca Pucllana.

End of the roundtrip and homebound flight.
