Arrival to Quito. Surrounded by snow-capped mountain peaks, Quito is a city offering the best possible blend of Old World charm and modern sophistication.

Enjoy a sightseeing tour of the city of Quito to get a first impression of the variety there is regarding religious and cultural sites. Visit of a photographer’s workshop to learn to take pictures in different ways & styles.

Drive to the small subtropical town Mindo. The nature reserve Bosque Protector Mindo-Nambillo is home of many animals like tucans, parrots, monkeys or big cats, which all make perfect objects to photograph.  

Just before sunrise explore the surrounding to take pictures of many different birds and amphibians in the early daylight. On the way to Otavalo many stops will be made to take pictures from the flora and fauna.

Visit the famous handicraft market of Otavalo. It’s a great opportunity to take pictures from the communities, the colourful people and the market. Continue to visit the crater lake Laguna Cuicocha on an altitude of 3000m above sea-level.

Transfer to Quito and flight to Lago Agrio. Continue by motorized canoes to the Cuyabeno Lodge. 3 night package inclusive full board. In the evening exploratory tour to observe animals and to take unforgettable pictures from sunset in the amazon region.

Walk through the “terra firma forest” with a naturalist guide who will explain the wildlife and the forest ecosystem. On a trip in a dug-out canoe to the flooded igapó with macrolobium trees to spot monkeys and birds.

Visit the Siona Indigenous Village to observe and participate in how they cook the typically “Casabe”. Night excursion by canoe to spot caimans, snakes and nocturnal birds.

Enjoy the sunrise and bird watching. A great occasion to take last pictures! Return by canoes to Lago Agrio and flight to Quito. Visit the historical city centre and take wonderful pictures by night.

Take a ride with the highest cableway in South America and and take amazing pictures of Quito and its surroundings. Continue to the Cotopaxi national park, one of the most attractive ecological reserves of the country.

Walk near the shallow lake “Laguna de Limpiopungo” in an altitude of almost 4.000m and visit Quilotoa, the lagoon inside a crater - it is one of the most famous motifs of Ecuador.

Transfer to Quito and flight to the Galapagos Islands. On Santa Cruz Island visit the Twin Craters, the giant tortoises at “El Chato” and the lava tunnel formed by lava streams. Lunch at a typical hacienda, dinner at the hotel.

Full day boat excursion to one of the islands North Seymour, South Plazas, Bartholomew, Santa Fe or the Dragon Hill on Santa Cruz Island inclusive lunch.

Walk to the Tortuga Bay. It is one of the longest white sandy beaches in the archipelago. Time to swim, snorkle or just relax. Transfer to Isabela Island. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Depending on the weather conditions visit Sierra Negra or the wetlands of Isabela. After lunch continue to Las Tintoreras. Overnight at the hotel.

Transfer to Baltra airport and flight to Guayaquil to catch the international connecting flight.
