Bolivia, Peru - Mystical Andes & Natural Wonders

Arrival in Santa Cruz, located in eastern Bolivia.

Santa Cruz is Bolivia´s largest city and economic centre. Enjoy a city tour through this tropical city with its small town feeling, colonial buildings and narrow streets.

Flight to Sucre. On a city tour you will get to know one of the most beautiful cities in Bolivia, with white houses, parks, picturesque streets and many colonial buildings. 

Transfer in public bus (4h) without guide to Potosí, one of the highest cities in the world on an altitude of 4.090 metres). Half day tour through this important city of silver mines and visit of the Coin Museum.

Transfer in public bus (4h) inclusive tour guide to Uyuni. Continue by jeeps to Colchani and visit the famous railway cemetery. 

Excursion around Colchani inclusive visit of a salt plant. Transfer across the spectacular Uyuni Salt Lake, the world´s largest salt flat. Visit of the Galaxy caves and Incahuasi, a former island in the middle of the salt lake.

Excursion to the Uyuni salt lake with its bizarre rock formations, the red lagoon and the geysers Sol de Manana.

Transfer to the airport and flight to La Paz. Continue to the town of Copacabana, situated at Lake Titicaca, a sacred place for the Inca civilization.

Half day city tour in La Paz. At El Alto you will take the cableway and enjoy the view of the city in the basin. At the end of the tour you will visit the Moon Valley, a unique area with bizarre geological formations.

Excursion by catamaran to the biggest island of the lake, Isla del Sol (Island of the Sun) inclusive visit of the cultural museum in Challa, participation on the shamans ceremony of „pago a la tierra“ and transfer in a typical reef boat. Continue to Puno. 

Full day panoramic drive to Cusco (seat-in). On the way visit Andahuaylillas with its Sistine Chapel of America, the temple of Wiracocha in Racchi and Puka Pukara inclusive lunch.

Transfer to the Sacred Valley. Visit of the Animal Shelter „Santuario Cochahuasi Wasi“ and famous Pisac market.

Full day excursion by Vistadome train to Machu Picchu to explore the mystery of this awe-inspiring place. Return to Cusco.

City tour of Cusco. The contrasts of indigenous styles and the modern western world give this city its rare beauty. Visit to some ruins around Cusco like Sacsayhuaman fortress.

Day at leisure in Cusco.

Flight to Lima. City tour including San Francisco Convent and Larco Herrera Museum, with the world’s largest private collection of Peruvian Pre-Columbian Art. Transfer to the airport for homebound flight.
