Mystic of the Andes

Arrival in Lima and transfer to the hotel.

City Tour including San Francisco monastery and Larco Museum. Optional: Visit of the Waterpark and dinner. 

Transfer to the airport and flight to Cusco. Upon arrival start the tour with a visit to Chinchero community. Then you will be transferred to “El Mirador de Racchi” to have a splendid view of the Sacred Valley.

Visit of the Ollantaytambo ruins followed by lunch in a local restaurant. Optional: visit Moray and Maras or Trekking to the terraces of Yucay.

Full day tour to Machu Picchu, the Lost City of the Incas. Transfer by bus to the train station of Ollantaytambo where the tour starts by train that goes through the fertile plain of the Urubamba valley and on to Aguas Calientes. From there, small busses drive up the steep mountain to the ruin town, where you enjoy a guided visit. Return to Ollantaytambo station and transfer to Cusco.  

Today starts with a half day city tour to get to know the important places of Cusco. Afterwards a visit to Sacsayhuaman, a ruin site that offers a spectacular view over the city. The afternoon is free at leisure.

Full day bus tour from Cusco to Puno through the Peruvian highland together with other international guests. On route visit the town of Andahuaylillas, the ruins of Racchi and the small town of Pucara.

Optional in the morning: Uros Island 

Transfer to Kasani, the Bolivian-Peruvian border to process the migration formalities. You proceed to Copacabana and visit the town. Afterwards board the "eco friendly" catamaran cruise ship to the southern part of Sun Island named Pilcocaina to visit the fascinating ruins. Continuation with the catamaran to Cocotoni to enjoy a sailing tour in an ancient totora reed boat. Afterwards overland transfer to La Paz.

Sightseeing tour and an interesting cable car tour with amazing views over La Paz. Afterwards explore the beautiful lunar landscape of the Moon Valley by foot.

Early in the morning transfer to the airport for the flight to Uyuni. After arrival visit the train cemetery located southwest of Uyuni. Continue to Colchani on the edge of the salt flats and visit the Incahuasi Island, completely surrounded by the Salar. After lunch proceed to the Galaxy Caves and then return to Colchani.

Today enjoy an incredible view of the still active Ollagüe volcano. Then visit the lagoons Hedionda, Chiarkhota and Honda that are filled with Andean, Chilean and James flamingos. Arrival to Siloli desert

Full day tour to the National Park Eduardo Avaroa to visit the stone tree, Laguna Colorada and the geysir Sol de Mañana. Upon return to Uyuni airport you will take the flight to La Paz.

After breakfast overland transfer to Tiwanacu, Bolivia´s pre-Inca civilization, to visit the temples and a museum. In continuation you will get to the Desaguadero border to process the border formalities and proceed to Juliaca airport to take the flight to Lima.

Optional (depending on the flight schedule): Gastronomic Tour or Visit of Barranco district.

Transfer to the airport. End of the roundtrip and departure flight or post-tour.
